Hotel Britain - The report
is compiled from data collected from almost 875 hotels across Britain,
representing some 136,000 rooms. Of these
hotels 203 are located in the capital and 672 spread across the
rest of the country. The survey includes statistics of occupancy,
average
room rate and yield for all hotels and breaks down the data according
to geographical region, hotel size and rate band, together with
associated commentary with expert outside contributors. The survey
also looks at
the political, economic and tourism influences affecting the
industry along with a review of property matters, hotel transactions
in
excess of £7m, and commentary on new hotel properties throughout
Britain.
Country Trends - This year Country Trends takes on a new
look and features 27 city surveys and three opinion articles from
global
hoteliers. It covers 1,100 hotels in 16 countries in Europe and nine
Middle Eastern
and African countries. Hotels from an additional 30 countries are
incorporated into three regional analyses – Europe, Middle
East and Africa. The report assesses the economic and tourism influences
on the hotel
industry, as well as future developments within each region. Results
of operations in P&L format, down to income before fixed charges,
are presented for each country, in domestic currency and regional
analyses are shown in euro/US dollars.
City Survey - City Survey
provides essential statistics and market commentary on over 580
quality hotels in 49 key cities: 31 in Europe
and 18 spread across the Middle East and Africa. It measures
market performance in terms of average occupancy, average room rate
and rooms
yield,
as well
as providing nationality and business mix for the sample year on
year.
