Industry Assessments

On behalf of the Canadian Tourism Commission, Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Recreation and other provincial partners, PKF has been actively involved in monitoring the state of tourism in the wake of the industry’s most recent tragic events, including:

• Impacts of the US Terrorist Attack on the Accommodation Industry in Canada, 2001;
• Monitoring Canada’s Accommodation Industry during a Challenging Year – 2003, The Impacts of the Iraq War and SARS;
• Ontario’s Tourism Recovery Program, Measuring the Benefits, 2004; and
• Ontario’s Tourism Revitalization Program, Continuing to Measure the Benefits, 2004.
