PKF has extensive experience in the attractions, entertainment,
gaming and public assembly sectors for both existing and proposed
developments. This includes work on a wide range of attractions,
spectator arenas, stadiums, performing arts centres, exhibitions,
casinos, convention centres and trade centres. We have undertaken
projects for both public sector and private sector clients, and regardless
of the project or the client, we apply the same standard of market
and financial due diligence in assessing and ensuring the viability
of all facilities.
Convention Centre Trends is an annual publication produced on behalf
of Convention Centres of Canada. It is the only one of its kind in
Canada. There were 17 participants for the 2004 publication. The
publication is in its 4th year of production. The purpose of Convention
Centre Trends is to track utilization levels, event types, revenues
and expenses, as well as food and beverage statistics, funding and
capital expenditures at each of the participating centres. All of
the information is broken down by the size of the convention centre.
Our scope of services includes market studies and
appraisals, operational reviews, economic impact studies and revenue
enhancements strategies.
